Trent Harmon, 25, made history as the very last singer to win ‘American Idol Season 15’. After the top 3 sings a short song together about stealing the show, Trent Harmon kicks things off by singing an original single called “Falling”, showing off his amazing range and smooth voice. We can definitely see this song being a Top 40 hit in no time- and of course, we’ve already “Fallen” for Trent’s voice.
“It was so hard, because I knew that have a God-given ability, but I didn’t want to take it for granted – and she pushed me to do it,” Trent said while embracing runner-up La’Porsha Renae.
The farm boy from Mississippi, Trent, impressed the judges in his first audition in Idol’s contest. Until he exquisitely sings Sia’s “Chandelier” which describe as one of the greatest Idol performances of all time, despite of battling case of Mononucleosis. The doctor even orders him to quit the show and have some rest, but the farm boy continues to reach his dream. Gladly, Trent is stubborn.
No other Idol finale ever featured such well-matched, powerhouse, vocalists as these two, Trent and La’Porsha on the grand tradition of the show. The week finale of American Idol ended on a literal high caliber singing contest on TV.
